*The business classification evaluation system is based on the report compiled by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s Energy Conservation Subcommittee of the Advisory Committee for Natural Resources and Energy (August 28, 2015), and encourages businesses to self-identify by announcing excellent energy conservation businesses. The aim is to promote objective recognition of the status of energy conservation efforts.
